Youth

Youth Ministry:

for positive clean fun as well as a place to develop friendships and mature into young Christians. Our desire is to challenge the youth to make Jesus Christ the center of their lives. As we teach the principles from God’s Word, it can have a lasting effect on the lives of our teens.

Our youth are involved in many church activities such as the church band, choir, acting, dancing, and devotional services and brigadier group. There are parties, Christian films, picnics, concerts, car wash fund raising events and a host of other activities that your child join and contribute too. This is a well-balanced program that all our children can benefit from and learn lessons he or she can use throughout life.

"Children, do what your parents tell you. This is only right. ‘Honor your father and mother’ is the first commandment that has a promise attached to it, namely, ‘so you will live well and have a long life’" (Ephesians 6:1-3 NIV).

As we all have heard at one time or another, that the youth is our future, which makes it even more important that we groom them to do the Lord's work. The parents and the Church play a major role in the creating a solid foundation for them to use throughout his or her lifetime. The challenge all churches face is keeping our youth in the church and on a path of righteousness. The youth ministry must be a balanced ministry both fun and driven by the scripture. Our goal for the youth at Eemdo, is to minister and encourage come to know Christ as their Savior and to dedicate their lives to serving the Lord with their talents and gifts. We work with our youth by teaching them that the life of service is very rewarding and fulfilling . In this ever-changing world, our children need to know what God expects from the lives he has granted them. They need to know how to face life’s challenges and that are answers to all they may face are in the Holy Scriptures. We make ourselves available to our youth as an outlet
